The most anticipated season-opening event in Lignano Sabbiadoro is the “Festa delle Cape”.

Born in 1984 from the idea of a few professional fishermen and later organized by the A.P.S. “Al Mare” Association of Lignano Sabbiadoro, the Festa delle Cape 2026 will take place in Piazza Marcello d’Olivo in Lignano Pineta during lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8 and 14-15, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The event, now a true Lignano tradition, aims to promote the seafood of the Adriatic Sea to both residents and tourists, while also donating the proceeds to charity.
